Welcome to my page, “Purple Petunia”! I won’t bother you with details of my life. This is less about me, and more about God and what He can do for you in your life! This page is not only intended for those who are already followers in Christ, but for those who aren’t quite sure yet.
Why did I start this page? As my relationship with God grows, He gives me more awareness of how seemingly small events in my life are actually Him trying to tell me something! I felt God was calling me to share these “messages” so that they inspire others in the same (or different) ways.
Please feel free to comment or share as much as you’d like. When I read blogs, sometimes I find that other people’s comments inspire me more than the original posting! You never know who God intends for your encouraging words to land on. “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (ESV) And by all means, if you feel that anything I write is inaccurately conveying God’s Word, please correct me (gently)! I’m no expert theologian, but I do my best to spread encouraging words without departing from the Scriptures. “Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.” Proverbs 10:17 (ESV)
